The truth I acquired one day while study the Term transformed my life. Like you, I had been taught different things concerning miracles. One college of believed was that just Jesus performed miracles while yet another stated that miracles died down following the Apostles. Religious specialness is from the unconscious arrogance of the ego improper brain which believes it’s in competition with God. Since we’re the same, we’re really competing with everyone else constantly until we understand that lesson. All conflict arises from the notion of competition. Spiritual specialness makes some relationships sacred and others maybe not as the ego’s agenda is that individuals don’t understand that the reason given such a thing is in the mind from picking with Lord or the ego. To restore our choice making capacity is the purpose of the Course.
The ego’s style, which we mistakenly believe is the Sacred Nature, contains no humility nor dependence on God. Fairly, it is the voice if you are self-created, i.e., the authority problem. All of us have confusion regarding the author of our living (ego or God) and the big difference between form (illusion) and content (mind wherever modification get place). To be miracle-minded, we can not be in conflict on any level for the right-mind it self is conflict-free. There’s a difference between right-miracle-minded and the wonder mind of the ego.
We have number loyalty when we use religious specialness once we are saying we’re more sacred, more picked by Lord than another. This is a defense against the opposite and we are discussing that issue in larger degree in future article. Being more plumped for may be the antithesis of the Course’s message.
